This article analyzes the grieving process that can be seen in children. The research divides the child's grief into three separate sections: early, middle, and late. Withing each section the authors sepcify a series of "tasks" that the child should complete in order to reach an ideal mindset of understanding and acceptance over death. It then furthers the idea of these tasks by explaining how the theory can be used, or should be used, in practice. Since my research has been looking to see how death affects children and their perception of it, gaining more insight into the psychological aspect of it adds more depth to my findings and conclusions.
