A thrilling retelling of a classic work! (2021-03-20)
J. Trevor Robinson has undertaken a massive project in retelling such an extraordinary story as The Count of Monte Cristo, but has expertly woven supernatural elements in such a way that pays homage to the original, while making it his own, too. Thrilling from beginning to end. Many mashup stories are poorly written or executed; not this! I feel just as enriched after reading this. Five stars!
